Every city in the US has its own persona when it comes to food. Now of course, we have most of the familiar options (restaurant chains). However, in Destin, we’re known for fresh seafood from the gulf, Angus steaks, corn & crab chowder, seafood gumbo and a variety of oysters. When staying in our Destin condominium, our guests enjoy our plentiful restaurants nearby, and some order food in using local food delivery services like Ubereats or Grubhub.

Destin is known as “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village”, so if you love seafood, you’re in luck! If you don’t, you’re in luck too as we’ve got some of the best restaurants on the entire Gulf Coast right here in Destin! In no particular order here are a few that consistently pop up as local recommendations:
Boshamps Seafood & Oyster House
Boshamps is located 4.7 miles from our condominium near the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, which is a beautiful setting for this casual dining atmosphere. Ocean views and two full bars. What's not to like? Boshamps also serves some of the best seafood in Destin. Fresh seafood, delicious Angus steaks, corn and crab chowder, seafood gumbo and a wide variety of oysters. If you're looking for delicious local fare in a great setting this is the place!
The Local Market
The Local Market is 3.9 miles from the condo, and is a favorite eatery of locals and tourists alike. Known for their amazing sandwiches, you can also pick up a delicious breakfast (currently served until 3pm). The Local Market, as the name suggests, does everything it can to keep their ingredients both fresh and local, including fresh bread from nearby Bon Appetit. The drinks at The Local Market are equally yummy. Smoothies, juices, beer, coffee, it's all good at The Local Market!
Mimmo's Ristorante Italiono
3.6 miles from here, Mimmo's is extremely popular in Destin, and the place to go if you're craving authentic Italian food. Here, you'll enjoy made from scratch recipes created by Chef Mimmo. Handcrafted pasta, brick oven pizza and fresh baked bread. Did we say Mimmo's is popular? Yes, the word is out, so you should ask about a reservation if you plan on going to Mimmo's.
Harbor Docks
Located 4.7 miles from our condominium, headed towards Destin Harbor you'll find another local gem with a fantastic waterfront view. This is a local favorite for fresh Gulf to Table® seafood and sushi. A couple local recommendations include the fresh grouper and bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp. It doesn't get any fresher than this!
McGuire's Irish Pub
Located 5.9 miles from our condominium, again headed towards Destin Harbor you'll find McGuire's which offers a 500 seat pub as well as a 150 seat outside deck. Of course you'll find delicious traditional Irish fare here, including shepherd's pie, corned beef & cabbage and fish & chips. Beers served from their in-house brewery. That said, you'll find amazing steaks and prime here, which come highly recommended.
Burrito Del Sol
Located 4.7 miles from our condominium, yet again headed towards Destin Harbor sits Burrito Del Sol. Here they serve "Baja-Style" Mexican food and the menu is a simple 3-step process: Step 1: Choose your tortilla/base (burrito, taco, quesadilla or taco salad). Step 2: Pick your protein (meat/seafood) Step 3: Pick your style (Baja, chipotle, southwest, BBQ). Talk about delicious! Their guacamole and salsas are prepared fresh every day. Blackened shrimp tacos and "Baja style' steak nachos are faves!
Cracklings
Located 3.6 miles from our condominium, and yes, headed towards Destin Harbor you'll find Cracklings. If you love eggs Benedict don't miss this one! They have 7 types! Lobster gouda grits, omelets, scrambles and yummy tiramisu french toast. The country fried steak and BBQ bacon sandwich get rave reviews as well. Something for everyone!

Sometimes it’s nice to stick close to home and leave the car behind. Thankfully, we’ve got several dining options here that are within walking distance. These are all extremely close driving distance from here if you’re looking for close, but driving is a better option for you. Starting up close and moving outward
790 on The Gulf Restaurant
Just east of us, 790 on the Gulf Restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the condo. Cajun-accented seafood served in upscale-casual digs with pale woods, Sunday brunch & Gulf views. Reservations required.
Pazzo Italiano Destin
This is a 12 minute walk (according to Google). Here they offer Italian entrees & wood-fired pizzas in a chic & contemporary yet chill dining room with a full bar.
Miller's Ale House
A 12 minute walk away. Casual sports-pub chain with basics from bar snacks to steaks & a large selection of tap beers.
Outback Steakhouse
A 13 minute walk from here, this is a familiar name to most. Boisterous Australian-themed chain serving steaks, seafood & other hearty steakhouse fare.
O'Quigley's Seafood Steamer & Oyster Sports Bar
A 14 minute walk away, roomy sports bar offering a seafood-heavy menu, plus sports on lots of TVs in a comfy space.
Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
A 15 minute walk away, who doesn't love Olive Garden? Lively, family-friendly chain featuring Italian standards such as pastas & salads.
Cracker Barrel in Destin
A 16 minute walk away, here's another familiar name. Homey chain restaurant serving American comfort food, with an on-site general store.
